Does my chat get sent anywhere?
No. The whole analysis runs on your phone. See the privacy policy.
How do I export a chat?
WhatsApp: open the chat, then Export Chat, then Without Media. On iPhone, choose the .zip as it is.
LINE: in the chat, Settings, then Export chat history.
The app's first screen has "Open WhatsApp" and "Open LINE" buttons that take you straight there. Pick TalkScore as the destination of the export and you come straight back with the file.
Will the other person know?
No. You are only reading an exported file; nothing happens in their WhatsApp or LINE.
It says there is not enough to go on
Short conversations give it less to count. Rather than guess, it says how rough the number is. A longer export changes the result.
There is no written read
The written read appears only on devices that run Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro and later). Other devices get the score and the breakdown.
It is taking a long time
Longer chats take longer. A multi-year export of a hundred thousand messages can take nearly two minutes. The screen shows an estimate and the elapsed time.
I want to delete what it stored
See deleting records.
I want to change my ad consent
Use "Ad settings" at the foot of the first screen. That entry appears only in regions where consent is required.
