You start almost every day. Replies come, but they are getting shorter.
Every other chat analyser asks you to upload the conversation. TalkScore cannot: the whole analysis runs on the device, and there is no server that could receive a message. What you get is a score out of 100 with every counted value shown — and, when you read the same chat again, the change since last time.
The other person never agreed to have their words sent to anyone's server. So TalkScore does not send them. The analysis runs on your phone; if a model reads the chat, it is the one on the device. There is no upload path in the app at all.
Reply times, who asks the questions, who starts the day, who has the last word. Everyone starts at 50; the counted items add and subtract; the result is the score. The whole breakdown is on screen.
The phone keeps the other person's name, the score, and a few figures for the next comparison — never the messages. No account. Delete all of it from the first screen whenever you like.

One of them went down. That is part of the line too. A single score can only say where things are now; a line can say which way they are going.

Demo conversation. The fourth reading’s score and breakdown are computed from it by the app; the first three are illustrative.
From the second, it can tell you whether things are getting better.
So TalkScore keeps the score on the device and, the next time you read the same chat, shows how far it moved and whether you acted on the last suggestion. There are plenty of chat analysers. None of them was built to be used twice.
No. You read an exported file; nothing happens in their LINE or WhatsApp.
It never leaves. The whole analysis runs on the device, and the app contains no code that talks to a server. Only ads and usage measurement (which screen was opened, and so on) reach outside services, and none of that includes the conversation. See the privacy policy.
No. It counts only what can be counted: how long replies take, who asks the questions, who starts the day. The breakdown is shown in full, so you can check the arithmetic yourself.
The same counts mean different things depending on which you ask. Late-night messages mean something romantically and nothing between friends. You can switch later.
The written read appears only on devices that run Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro and later). Other devices get the score and the breakdown.
Longer chats take longer. A multi-year export of a hundred thousand messages can take nearly two minutes; the screen shows an estimate and the elapsed time.
Yes. No subscription. Ads are shown: one after the analysis and before the result, and one below the result. The one before the result is announced on screen first.
You get the change since last time, and whether you acted on the suggestion it gave you. Scores stay on the device, and each conversation becomes a line.
Free. No account. Nothing is uploaded.
